Starting the visit to one of the most important National Parks in the Country. The Popocatepetl Active Volcano is the most active in the country; With 5530 meters high, the second highest in the country.
Starting at 3,480 meters above sea level we will walk an average of 3.5 hours up to 4,380 meters above sea level.
A total gain of 900 meters to reach our goal, a viewpoint with the best view of the volcano. Arriving around 1pm to be back at 4pm.
Visualization of birds, teporingos (endemic species of rabbit) and knowledge of the Morphogeology of the place are aspects that you will discover on this tour. 6 of the 7 highest mountains in Mexico are visible on this Hike, as long as there are not too many clouds
